Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn, born 19th August 1965, is an American actor. Her most well-known character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick earned an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13th on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Madeline Wuntch on Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film appearances include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). She also starred in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist.
